The Masterworks Foundation, located in Atlanta, GA, was begun in 2001 as an outgrowth of the then eleven year old Master’s Academy of Fine Arts, a fine arts school serving the homeschool population of the United States.
The Masterworks Foundation exists to change the lives and cultures of the world for the good through education in, and production of the arts from a distinctly Christian worldview. Believing that the arts have a profound effect for good or evil on the people and cultures of the world, and that how the arts are portrayed is of utmost importance, The Masterworks Foundation is committed to furthering a Christian worldview both in and through the arts and fulfills this mission through developing arts education programs, producing public fine arts performances, and serving as a resource center for the arts

The Masterworks Foundation is proud of it’s most recent achievements in fulfilling this mission:
- European tours to study the history, arts and culture of the world. 2001-2006
- Production of the Musical Annie Jr. at the 14th St. Playhouse, Atlanta, GA - February, 2005
- Presentation of The Masterpiece Conference of the Arts- 2002-2005
- Provision of equipment, supplies, sets, costumes, and resources to outside arts groups 2001-2006
Currently, the Masterworks Foundation is involved in the continued development of the above mentioned programs.
The European tours have been one of our most successful ventures to date and annually we have seen the students truly begin to understand and gain a greater appreciation for the arts and culture of the places we have visited. Our tour itineraries have thus far included trips to Rome, Venice/Florence, Vienna, Germany, London, and Paris. Research is currently being done to allow for future expansion of these trips to other continents to increase our portfolio of locations and cultures available for study opportunities.
Our first public production of Annie was a successful venture with a sold out house for all of it’s performances. Not only were the audiences pleased with this delightful production, but the students who were in the cast learned much about theater through rehearsals, set-design and construction, and the polishing necessary for such a public performance. Future production plans include a Musicale scheduled for October of 2005 and the musical Cinderella to be presented in the winter of 2006.
